Greetings, all.  It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to update my blog and I apologize to anyone whom took their time to read my blabbering as I’ve failed to update everyone on my most recent changes in life.

As most already know, I’ve failed to qualify to compete for the U.S. Paralympic cycling team at the Beijing games.  It’s really tough to get back into a semblance of a “normal” life after you’ve dedicated, almost single-mindedly, perhaps a misguided pursuit, most of your time to a single event.

Of course, no matter how “misguided” it may have been, I plan to train and attempt to qualify for London in 2012.

I’ve decided to complete my degree in Computer Science, which I should be finishing by the end of this year, that is, if I can pass all my classes.  Getting back into the daily routine of spending some time completing class work has really taken it’s toll on me as I’ve really been struggling to gain any forward momentum in my classes.  Too much time reading over the same paragraphs in the book, too much time staring at the screen with a blank stare on my face as I fail to grasp even the most simple of concepts.  I’m finally getting back into the groove of things, though, and hopefully as I get back into my studies I will be able to complete my degree without any worries.
